EWC Livestock Judging Team Places in Wyoming Contest
Torrington, Wyoming (EWC) -- The Eastern Wyoming College Livestock Judging team recently returned from the 8th annual Cattle Judging contest at Joe Scott’s Heart Six Ranch, (formerly Pannell Ranch) in Hulett, WY where they finished as 5th high team out of 23 teams competing. Teams were from colleges and universities throughout the region.
Individually EWC student Katrina Schwer of Fennimore, WI. Was 6th high individual and 4th in placings. Fellow teammate, Travis Zelletti of Durango, CO. was 10th in placings and Drew Banks of Ft. Collins, CO. was 10th in oral reasons.
“I am extremely proud of the team. Things are starting to come together,” added EWC Livestock Judging Coach JD Sexton.
