Enzi hits the highway to meet with residents across the state during August

Washington, D.C. (Office of Senator Enzi) – U.S. Senator Mike Enzi, R-Wyo., will be logging thousands of miles this month as he travels across the state meeting with Wyoming residents from corner to corner during the Senate’s August home work period.

Highlights of Enzi’s schedule are provided below:

Enzi is scheduled to be the opening speaker at the inaugural John P. Ellbogen Institute for Educational Leadership and Advocacy at 10 a.m. at the Laramie Hilton Garden Inn (2229 E. After the workshop, Enzi plans to attend the presentation of a $10 million loan from Casper’s First Interstate Bank to Rock Springs Mineral Processing for the building of a new bentonite plant in Bucknum on Hwy 20-26 northwest of Casper.  The presentation will take place at 4 p.m. at the plant’s planned site at 12050 Bucknum Road in Bucknum.

At 6 p.m., the Wyoming Paraeducators Consortium (WyPEC) will host its annual awards banquet at the Ramada Plaza Riverside (300 W. F St.) in Casper.  Diana Enzi is scheduled to present the consortium’s awards at the banquet, and Enzi will be joining his wife at the event.

Enzi is set to present the Wyoming Agricultural Hall of Fame Award to Del Tinsley, state director of USDA Rural Development, at 5:30 p.m. at the Wyoming State Fairgrounds (400 W. Center St.) in Douglas.

Gillette:  Fri., Aug. 15
