Pokes Lose Homecoming Contest 40-7
Laramie (CollegePressBox) -- Saturday's football game versus the University of Utah marked the 84th Homecoming game in University of Wyoming history, and the 59th Homecoming game to be played in War Memorial Stadium. Unfortunately, the Pokes lost 40-7 against 14th-ranked Utah.
Two years ago, Wyoming defeated Utah on Oct. 14, 2006, by a score of 31-15, in Wyoming's
82nd Homecoming contest.
Last year, the Cowboys lost to New Mexico by a score of 20-3 on UW’s 83rd Homecoming.

UW's Homecoming Record in War Memorial 35-21-2 (.621)
The series with Utah is the
second oldest for the Cowboys.
The oldest rivalry for the Pokes is versus Colorado State. UW and CSU will be playing for the
100th time later this season.
